When is the special yellow Pikachu edition DS coming out in the US?

I would like to buy the special edition yellow pikachu ds as a present. Will it be available in the United States by Christmas? I see some overseas sellers but I’m not sure that they Japanese version of the DS will support my CycloDS flash cart that I bought. Does anyone know where I can get an authentic yellow DS?
